Best Sushi in New York

Very cozy, and innovative presentation. Liked how the rolls were served to us as we finished each round of opinions in the hand roll sets. However, still would get more rolls after the 6 hand roll set if shared between two people. Great experience and thankfully not crowded on a Friday night in the village!

The atmosphere was so cool and the staff was super kind! There are stools set up around the people making the sushi, and the overall vibe feels really good. The sushi was had really high quality fish as well and the hand rolls were delicious! There was even a lunch special before 4pm where you could get 3 hand rolls and a crispy rice starter for $20!

Came in at opening on a weekday. It was completely empty...! No music either (which I prefer). Server was very good-natured and kindly explained the menu, answering any questions we had. I enjoyed all the rolls the chef behind the bar made for us, thank you! My absolute favorite was the scallop with yuzu honey mustard — the texture of the meat surprised me, and it tasted unbelievably fresh. I ended up ordering a second one just to experience the flavor again. The lobster roll was also great :) I'm looking forward to coming back again to try out more of their menu!
